Our Full Class List

Begin to Spin

As easy as riding a bike, this class is designed to support people that are new to spinning. Anyone can take part in this class as the instructor is experienced enough to push you to your limits. A great start to increase your cardiovascular fitness and burn up to 600 calories in a normal 45 minute class.

Begin to Spin will appear once at the end of the month. 

  

BodyBalance

BodyBalance is an original LES MILLS Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout. This class helps improve and maintain flexibility and strength and will leave you feeling centred and calm. With controlled breathing, you can carefully follow a structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

 ​

BodyCombat

Les Mills Combat is an empowering group fitness cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This class is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide variety of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo and Tai Chi. It is great for any fitness levels to tone and shape key muscle areas with many calories burned during this fun and active workout.

 ​

BodyPump

Les Mills BodyPump is an original LES MILLS barbell class that gives you a full body workout. With the use of low weights and high repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning. This class is multi-level and you can burn up to 540 calories in most classes, improving shape, tone and core strength.

Begin to Pump will appear once at the end of the month for first timers.

 

Boogie Bounce

Boogie Bounce is a complete exercise program on a mini trampoline with a safety T-Bar handle. Each class is choreographed to a dance mix of tracks from across the decades. Boogie Bounce delivers a full body cardio workout which is suitable for everyone of all ages, shapes and sizes.

 

Box FIT

A new class available for you to enjoy, which is a high intensity cardio workout based on boxing techniques. This class will improve your core, build your strength and is available to all fitness levels. Booking is essential as there are limited spaces. You will be blasting calories without getting bored. Think, punches, kicks, burpees, shuttle runs, squats and sit ups… to work up a sweat in a way you will enjoy.

 

Circuits

A combination of exercises, either timed or with a number of repetitions. Exercise could be in a group, working together or individually. The best thing is, this class will never be the same! A circuit is designed to help improve the functional movements with a variety of exercises with or without equipment. It is available for all fitness types: beginners, intermediate or advanced to help improve your cardiovascular fitness.

 

Burn Boot Camp

A whole new body fitness program that is designed to increase your strength, agility and cardio capacity. This class will never be the same, however, you will be pushed to your limit in a quick and active 30 minute class.

Kettlebells

Kettlebells returns to our new timetable. To help build muscle, you will swing, lunge, press and squat your way to a toned body, whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance in our kettlebell classes.

 

​Meta fit

Meta fit is a 30 minute, bodyweight, non-choreographed, high-intensity interval training workout. Created by a former Royal Marine commando to make Mega fit the most effective and efficient, giving you the freedom to fit in a quick workout with no equipment. Not to mention, we are the only gym around to have Meta fit classes!

Muscle Conditioning

A variety of cardiovascular fitness, toning and strengthening. This class builds and improves your core strength by challenging your stability, balance and core activation. This helps to support your training and life. This class is suitable for all fitness levels, as you can burn calories, lose weight and step out of your comfort zone with different exercises each week. 

 

Pilates

Incorporating elements of yoga, martial arts and other forms of exercise, this class will help to improve your posture, strength and flexibility with a focus on stretching and strengthening the whole body. Offering both beginners and mixed level classes weekly. This is a great class to increase muscle strength and tone, but particularly your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and bum.

 

 

Spin

As easy as riding a bike, increase your cardiovascular fitness and burn up to 600 calories in a 45 minute class. You can shape your legs and bum, increase your leg strength and muscular endurance with our top of the range bikes that track your cycle to the most accurate mileage, RPM and calories burned.

Strong & Lean

A full aerobic body toning class to work up a sweat! This class is designed to work the common areas, arms, legs, abs & bum, which will help build up muscle and tone. A variety of exercises with or without equipment which is good for beginners, intermediate or advanced. 

 

Total Body Burn 

 A new class for a Monday morning to help get your week started off right. One week this class will be Les Mills Body Pump followed by a class of 45 minutes of kettlebells and top-to-toe. It’s important to have a good variety whilst training.

 

Total Body Conditioning 

This is a new class for Sunday morning taken by a variety of instructors, it includes a half an hour spin followed by a class of the instructors choice. This class is for any fitness level and a chance to catch up on a variety of classes if you’ve missed some during the week.

 

TRX Tone

Total body resistance exercise is new and located in our upstairs studio. A workout method that uses just your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. Don’t forget to book this class as there are limited spaces available.

 

Sports Stretch

The chance to relax, stretch and balance, as most people forget to stretch. This stretch class helps improve the flexibility of your joints and muscles. Stretching is a vital component in any fitness regime, whether you are new to fitness or a professional athlete.

Strong & Lean

Aerobics-style workout which utilises an elevated platform to really get your heart rate raised. The instructor creates the moves to deliver a challenging work out for mind and muscle. You can also vary the difficulty of your workout by adjusting the height of your platform. This class improves your cardiovascular and muscle endurance, burns calories and improves coordination. This is suitable for every ability.

 

Top-To-Toe

Using a mix of your body weight and light weights in each class, Top-To-Toe will ensure you stay both keen and lean. This class will help burn calories and improve your fitness levels by toning your legs, bum and abs. This class is suitable for all levels and is a great class to get yourself back into a fitness routine!

 

Virtual Class

A great way to squeeze an extra class in a week, with an indoor cycling class with instructors on our big screen. This ride is to a rhythm of powerful music with the uses of different terrains, with this facility it enables you to workout whenever you fancy!
